Well it seems that because of Google Buzz’s launch there is yet another site. This site is called “ReBuzzMe”. RebuzzMe is an almost similiar copy of the famous TweetMeme Button.

When you look at the button it says of course, “Rebuzz” at the bottom and at the top it shows the number of buzzes. I actually think this is pretty funny and cool at the same time even though it’s kind of a rip off. Yet, some people may use Google Buzz and not twitter, so in that case it is helpful and when people sign in to their Buzz they may see your post! You can visit the site by going to this url http://www.rebuzzthis.com/

It seems like many sites are changing their look and feel. Another one of these sites is Swagbucks.com. Swagbucks is yet another free prize site where you can get many things like a gaming system or a gift card. To begin with, the first thing they changed is your swag bucks pricing.

Instead of getting just one swag buck which is used to redeem prizes you would get 10. So for every 1 swag buck you have that would be ten and if you searched for something using their site you would get ten to twenty swag bucks. With this new option though comes something else. They have raised the prices on some of their prizes because this way it will make people want to use their site more I think.

Another thing that they changed is they changed the top bar. The first thing I noticed was that they have uploaded a new logo on their site. When you go to Swagbucks.com you will see that it says “Why do I have more swagbucks?” and if you click that you will know why. I like this new update because I had only around 10-14 swagbucks and now I have 180 or so.

These are labeled “Home, Browse Category, My activity” and about. What I like is that it doesn’t matter wherever you go on Yahoo! Answers as these will stay with you. Now I am not going in to too much detail about the browse category tab because to me it seems not very important. Yet, categories are in the navigation tab now. You can watch my video which will be live shortly and check out this picture below.

On February 23rd, 2010 Valve announced the release of the new client BETA. This features a new redesigned look and feel of the Steam client. Steam is a free platform to download yet you need to buy games for some features to become useable like adding friends. This beta is opt-in meaning you don’t have to join it if you don’t want to. They have redesigned how it shows the store and the games section.

You can now see what games your friend has purchased within the store tab. This client beta also helps gamers alike be more organized and sort their games easier. I like this a lot. You can watch the video above and read about it here.

I like the color of the MP3 player it’s green. I also like how it’s very small and light. Since it’s lightweight I can clip it onto my shirt or pants pocket when I skate and that way it will most likely not fall off. It’s great that Apple made it so you could hear what song your listening to as well with “VoiceOver”.

Lastly, what I like about it is how it connects via Jack to USB meaning the USB connector plugs in via the headphone jack to your PC or Macintosh USB port. Some things that I do not like about it are the fact that the ear buds don’t fit my ears so that’s probably my fault for my ears being so big or small. I also don’t like where the volume controls are on the shuffle because I may not remember what’s what and I have to look right at my shoulder to see it. Watch the video for more information.

This feature is called “play” and if it isn’t obvious enough by the title, you earn points for well.. watching videos. The videos are hand picked by the staff at Lockerz and they include some music videos from Justin Bieber and Fall Out Boy. You can also watch films from Sundance Festival and so forth.

Each video you watch ALL the way – meaning you can’t just stop half way through gets you 2 ptz if you are a regular member. Now, if you have special Z-Lister status you earn 4 Ptz and they have a lot of videos so if you add that all up you get many points. I think this is a great new feature because the February redemption is soon and I can get some ptz for that. If you don’t have a Lockerz account you can send me an email by visiting the Contact page on my site and send me your e-mail. Preferably Yahoo or anything but Hotmail because that has been having some problems.

On Wednesday February 10th, 2010 YouTube launched a new feature entitled “Safety Mode”. Safety Mode is suppose to make YouTube a more friendly community. It does this by filtering out certain search results like “nudity”. On YouTube’s blog they state that no filter is 100% perfect so yeah some searches may slip in here and now.

I know YouTube does a good job at keeping the community clean though by removing those types of videos on the spot. I Think that this is great if you have kids whom you don’t want reading profane words and certain videos. You have an option to lock the safety mode on your browser so that nobody can turn it off with YOUR password so that’s pretty sneaky on YouTube’s end. This way your kid can’t turn it off. I think this is great as it may help make YouTube a better friendly place on the internet.

Thanks for reading,

Youtube recently launched a new feature. This feature is called “Video Speed”. This new feature allows you to see your current viewing speed and compare that to other things like your ISP’s speed, your state, or global. It can also compare it to other things. So what good of use is this information? It is helpful because with it, you can determine how long you will have to wait to watch a video from 480p to 1080p which is high definition. Many factors help with this. Some of them include your Internet Service Provider (ISP), how far you are from Google’s servers, and of course your very own computer. You can view your speed by visiting The My Speed Feature. The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) can be found right here. It will answer most if not all your questions you may have regarding this. Below is a screen shot of my own speed. Remember, you can follow me on Twitter and subscribe to me on YouTube for more information like when I update my blog, etc.

I am pretty sure many of you visitors have heard of Google’s calendar product. Well, it seems that Google has decided to redesign it to make it easier to use and have a more sleek feeling and design. I have personally seen these changes and so far they are very little yet in time it will probably be as great as Google Buzz. Now, I think that the old version is a bit better but that’s only because the screen shot is not clear as day.

For those of who that don’t use Google Calendar or know nothing about it, Google Calendar allows it’s users to set important events. It also allows it’s users to share calendars with other Google users or whomever and you can have multiple calendars. Below is both screen shots of the new and old Google Calendar so far. Comment below what you think of these changes. Images are from TechCrunch.

Thanks to one of my twitter followers @TXBrad, I know of a web service that provides a graph and information as to whom follows and unfollows me. This web service is called Twunfollow. You use Twunfollow by authenticating your Twitter account with it and logging in. You can see who unfollows you or follows you from the last 24 hours, last week, or last 12 hours! You can also get an RSS feed of this as well.

You can choose to get email notifications daily, instant or none with follows who have 0 tweets. They will NOT notify you if your email is unverified. The main page says “ TwUnfollow notifies you about Twitter followers that are not following you any longer. At the moment we check the followers about four to five times a day. Feel free to contact us.”. Below is a sample graph based on my followers.
